An idea of reference is a clinical term used to describe a type of delusion an individual going through physosois is experiencing. I’ve experienced a few breaks from reality in my life while going through manic episodes. It’s hard to imagine for someone who never experienced it themselves. The series of images in this book are linked together to exemplify how my mind would make connections, how things that are seemingly unrelated present themselves just for me to see.
The sequence of images are meant to be viewed in order. By themselves they are meaningless but as a whole they tell a story. Showing the world as I see it. My small meaningless perspective in our big world, my small world in a small book trying to explain a big idea.
